ReplyDeleteHi, I've come across your blog a couple of times and I have a query on how you calculate STI performance.
STI ETF (ES3) closing price on 31 Dec 2020 was $2.91 and the closing price on 31 Dec 2021 was $3.18. STI ETF also paid 8.3 cents dividend so the total return in 2021 from STI ETF was a positive 12.1% in 2021. Which is ok, but much less than Vanguard World 18.5%. I'm not sure why your table seems to imply that STI was negative in 2021?
hi :} i used the price of STI in 2016 which is $3.32 and also when i started my portfolio for comparison. just a benchmark for me to compare with my stocks :[ just for fun
